These are logos I’ve worked on for various companies over the years. Some were more collaborative than others – I should say that the Marine Layer logo was based on two graphical elements that already existed, and my role in the process was arranging them together, and choosing colors and typography.
This one was a riff on a classic surf graphic from 1966. Fort Point is sort of a locals-only spot in SF, right under the Golden Gate bridge. The shirt sold out pretty quickly, and has been spotted as far south as Santa Barbara. Guess it’s not just for locals after all.
