Marine Layer Store Sign

Marine Layer opened a pop-up shop in the Marina district of San Francisco, and they’d found a piece of unfinished wood to use for the sign. I spent an afternoon down at the shop hand-painting the logo and text onto the sign. One interesting thing I learned about painting on natural wood: sandpaper on wood works like a rubber eraser on paper. Go figure.
